Welcoming MidCentury Modern Earth Home Close to Airport
I'm always looking for properties that have something special and this one did not disappoint. A unique and efficient design, the space was also very functional and comfortable and incredibly well-appointed. I want to go back when I'm able to enjoy the outdoor entertainment spaces! The location was perfect for my needs being within a couple miles of the venue I was attending, with easy access to freeways, the airport, and shopping. The rooms were comfortable, the bedding luxurious, and the overall feel just inviting and comfortable. Minnestay left complimentary popcorn snacks abd coffee, which were very appreciated. A truly enjoyable home away from home.- Laura , Posted:

Hands-down, the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at. I've stayed at Airbnb's across this country in this top of the list, immaculately decorated and a beautiful space. The bathroom is just stunning 10 out of 10 would recommend.- Gregory , Posted:
The house was beautiful and exactly as described. It was fun to stay in an earth home. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy.- Chelsey , Posted:
Beautiful, unique light-filled home, spotlessly clean and well maintained. We also enjoyed the two outdoor spaces when it wasn’t raining. We loved our week at Dove’s Nest and hope to be back.- Sara , Posted:
Lovely relaxing spot with plenty of room for two people to work- Erin , Posted:
Wow!! This house was incredible. We felt so at home and loved the indoor fireplace. The back patio was so cozy and private. The kitchen is super well stocked and made cooking easy. Photos do not do it justice - such a great space!

Lovely space and neighborhood. Everything was as advertised! Only glitch was that check in was bit stressful because of they forgot send ID verification and rental agreement, but it all got sorted. Communication was easy, kitchen well stocked, and the space relaxing. Would definitely stay again.- Liana , Posted:
Great experience. Host staff was amazing and responsive. The space was cozy and as described. The neighborhood is convenient to the city and is quiet and nice. I would gladly stay here again!- Kevin , Posted:
This is one of the coolest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed it. We were there in the heat of summer and the house stayed cool and peaceful. It was fun to cook in the kitchen and enjoy the outdoor space. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The host communicated quickly and helped with anything we needed. The heated floor in the bathroom was a real treat.

The Dove’s Nest is an absolute oasis in a residential neighborhood in the city. My friend and I enjoyed all the amenities of the house, including the spa-like bathroom, outdoor decks, and the amazing natural light. This place is exactly as described – and truly a gem.- Regina , Posted:

Peaceful place to stay with lots of gathering areas. We would stay again.- April , Posted:
The sticks and stones house was like a perfect winter getaway. What we received was so much more than sticks and stones. What began as an interesting locale turned out to be one of the most gorgeous Airbnb experiences of our lives. Not only were we provided with firewood to heat the home, but the images seared in our minds are ones of gorgeous interiors, beautiful architecture, and possible visions for the future. The bathroom amenities were the icing on the cake! While subterranean, the experience was far from apocalyptic. In fact, we felt transported into a new world of whimsy and comfort. While the 1980 design makes you feel transported into the past, the contemporary elements keep you comforted and up to date in the 2020s. best Airbnb experience so far. We wish we could have stayed here for years!- Qrescent , Posted:
super stylish, unique dwelling - inside and out. kudos to the architects and interior design teams.
the living spaces are very aesthetically pleasing. you'll want to hang out in each space as the situation dictates.
the shower is beautiful and functional, with the best water pressure you'll ever come across. the soft sauna lighting makes you want to linger.
the toilet is from some distant, wild future - a tutorial would be helpful for the faint of heart. i actually didn't mind it, but the multi-functionality intimidated the kiddos a bit.
speaking of kids, you might wanna put the Mapplethorpe portfolio out of reach. loved the Corrigan rock photo collection, though - and wish the vintage Walkman had batteries so we could've played the Lunch Duchess cassette!
location is so central and convenient to everywhere you want to go. there's some gritty city vibe within a couple of blocks, but we slept soundly and worried not.
overall memorable stay - good luck finding a more unique sp- Tobias , Posted:

This place is incredible! This earth home is so unique and much care was taken to provide a very comfortable stay. The host has gone above and beyond to make sure you will have everything you need. The midcentury design is evident in every detail and is extended to the outdoor patio and rooftop, with cozy furniture, fire pit, grill and party lights! We would highly recommend this home to others and we definitely plan to come back for another visit! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Lovely, private and quiet. The home is an oasis in the city. It’s earth sheltered construction give the occupants privacy yet the sunken patio into which the living room opens brings in the outdoors through a wall of windows.
The space accommodated all of us comfortably with alcoves for relaxing and reading, a larger living area to gather together and two bedrooms that are sheltered from street noise and away from the gathering space. Kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals and is a lovely space to hang out as well.
When venturing into the neighborhood there are several great places to eat a couple of blocks from the house with ethic food choices as well as seafood and bbq. Around the corner is a beautiful pedestrian street to stroll through with lovely Victorian homes and gardens. Short drive to downtown MInneapolis venues, and a short walk to Augsburg College. We will definitely stay again.- Linda , Posted:

Gorgeous home, so cozy and very comfortable! The spa bathroom and nook skylight really made it extra special. We would've loved to have a fire but weren't sure what the rules were since there weren't any listed, but we decided not to bother the hosts with questions and were fine without! Only other issue was neighborhood related, my car did get broken into parked out on the street which was a bummer, but nothing was damaged or taken and we decided to park in the driveway instead and felt better the rest of the time. And just a street over felt totally different, overall very quiet and peaceful, maybe just a little close to being weird at night but nothing out of the ordinary for a big city. Didn't feel unsafe at all, and the house is so unique it was worth it anyways. Definitely hope to stay again sometime and use the outdoor spaces in a different season!- Delaney , Posted:
The house was beautiful. It had everything I needed and more. I still definitely be booking again!- Karisma , Posted:
The area is a little sketchy but we felt safe. The house itself is INCREDIBLE!! Worth every penny and HIGHLY recommend!- Elyce , Posted:

Fabulous house!
We loved staying here. It’s beautiful, original, and wonderfully decorated. It was very quiet; absolutely no street or neighborhood noise. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, with the best pillows. It was spotlessly clean. The location was convenient for downtown, highways, parks, and museums. The Seward Coop is a few blocks away and Rebecca’s Bakery is just around the corner with excellent pastries and coffee. Highly recommended!- Siobhan , Posted:
