Exactly what we expected

We adored our stay at Edina Escape! The house was exactly as pictured and the reservations team was incredibly helpful and accessible. The house had a great layout and the location was perfect as well, with restaurants and shopping within walking distance and close to the airport with an easy drive everywhere else we wanted to go.

8 of us stayed in this house quite comfortably and with plenty of room in the house and parking for three cars (two in the alley and one in the front). The location was ideal with great restaurants, shops, and a park a short walk away. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Beautiful house and fantastic location. Very easy to walk to shops and restaurants even with two young children. It was a very comfortable stay with a great amount of space with the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The backyard was fantastic and my children loved playing there.

Great place for my family

My family and I enjoyed a quick weekend stay to get a hiatus from our home during COVID. The place was clean and there were lots of great amenities, including beyond basic appliances. The beds were firm and linens super comfortable. Appreciated the Apple TV in the living room for ease of use. Great location as well!

Don’t Hesitate

Perfect Vacation Home!!

This is a perfect vacation home - fabulous location within walking distance of Lake Harriett and all the cute shops at 50th and France plus it has absolutely everything you could possibly imagine needing during a stay. The house was slightly wasted on us- there were only myself and my daughter and we were there for a long weekend but I would love to come back in the summer with a family group and really make the most of what it has to offer.

Wonderful stay. The urban cabin had comfortable beds, nice big fridge, and a very well stocked kitchen. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Great little farmer’s market across the street on Saturday morning. We could not ask for a better way to start our day! Thanks Minnestay!!

Lots of Fun!

The property was great for our family of 4 adults and 4 children. Three king size beds, two trundle beds in the basement, large sleepable sofa also in basement. Lots of activities available, TVs everywhere, two backyard lounging areas. Whoever set this place had a lot of fun. The location was great, a park/ recreational area 1 block away, and great restaurants, grocery store, bakery, and shopping within blocks. Property management was very responsive. We intend to return.

Cute house in great location
This is a cute house tucked away on a quiet street very, very close to 50th and France and also not far from Lake Harriet. There is a small fenced backyard with a deck and lovely flower garden. Three good sized bedrooms, nice updated kitchen. Lots of comfortable seating in living room and basement Rec area.

We stayed here for a family vacation and wedding and the place was terrific! We were traveling with 6 adults, two 1 year olds and a 4 yr old and it not only accommodated all the adults wants but it was perfect for the little ones as well. There is a baby gate to keep little ones from the down stairs area, baby monitors, sound machine, high chair, pack n play, yard games, board games and the back yard is gated. The neighborhood is quite and cute with a park, shopping and restaurants all walking distance from the house. Not only was the home comfortable it had all you need to cook while you relax and enjoy your stay. If we ever come back we will definitely look to stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary! We enjoyed the house and the location in proximity to restaurants and getting to other places. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and the downstairs provided ample room for entertainment with guests. Thanks for a great stay!

My cousins and I truly enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable. It was nice to have the basement to hang out and for extra sleeping. We made many great memories together as we walked to town for dinners and then played games in the evenings. I would definitely recommend this special home.

Great visit to show my kids the beauty of Minnesota! Loved Red Cow and Edina grill for meals! Playground within walking distance. Small farmers market on Saturday. About 30min to Como Zoo, the Children’s Museum, and to the Twins stadium. Beds were all comfy. Kitchen with basic spices and decent amount of pots pans etc. Cozy living room and dining room. Small complaints - floors are pretty squeaky, especially to those listening from the basement! And the window a/c units aren’t really enough for the days when it reaches 90. The bedrooms stayed cool as long as the doors were shut! We weren’t miserable but did notice it stayed fairly warm in the common areas of the house. Overall, a great time with my family!

Charming neighborhood; great location
We have family that lives in this neighborhood so we were happy to find a house within walking distance of their home. Also love being able to walk to the shops and restaurants on 50th and France. This house has a nice sized kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a pretty backyard with comfortable seating. We will definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to others.

This house was perfect for our needs. We traveled here for my husband who was getting treatments for a brain injury. The house was clean and maintained. The neighborhood is quite and nice. The house was well stocked with things for the kitchen so we were able to cook a lot of our own meals. There were plenty of linens for all 3 bathrooms. The house was a nice fit for 6 adults. If we were ever to come back out for more treatments for my husband I would definitely rebook this place.

Holiday Weekend
Our family of 6 spent a comfortable Easter weekend at this property. We were gathering with extended family during the day at their home about 1.5 miles from here. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to easily make the food items we were contributing for the weekend. All amenities were as described. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and located close to parks, gas, restaurants and other shopping. We will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Our stay in this home was absolutely great. We stayed over the Christmas holiday, cooked lots of meals, baked Christmas treats and relaxed. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever need...and then some! Toiletries are provided in all the bathrooms. Top of the line appliances. Comfy furniture to curl up in with a good book or to watch movies (on any one of several TVs.) Plus the location is fantastic...beautiful walks, loads of restaurants and cute shops within a few blocks, as well as a grocery store, pharmacy and several bakeries. We’ll look to see if this home is available again if we’re back in Minneapolis.

Great for Visiting Grand Kids
Location, location, location - was perfect for our needs (getting g-kids to and from school, soccer games etc. Lots of v good restaurants nearby, parks, bike trials and Lake Harriet.

Awesome home just a few blocks from central Edina restaurants, movies, grocery stores, etc. Plus the Farmer's Market is right across the street on Saturdays, and it's an easy walk to Lake Harriett. The home is cozy and quirky...all in a good way. Three nice bedrooms and a spacious basement with bed/large couch. Plus three bathrooms! We also enjoyed sitting outside on the patio under the tent with string lights. Just a great place for a group of 6-8 people.

Convenient and comfy + Bunnies!
Beautiful house with a large modern kitchen that has everything you could need. Two outside seating areas, one is covered which we enjoyed in the rain. Fun to watch the bunnies, birds, squirrels, and chipmunks running around the sweet backyard. 3 King beds!! (No arguing about who gets the small bed). Definitely recommend!

Edina escape
The Property is large with loads of different sleeping options on three levels. The management team was very helpful with the few minor issues we had. WIFI is good with lots of options. Important for the kids. Good neighborhood with plenty of parks and attractions/shopping nearby.

Family get away!
Nice quiet neighborhood but within 15 minute driving time of everything we wanted to do! Home had lots of character and well supplied and equiped! Loved the yard too! Granddaughters found lots to keep them occupied! So happy we chose this rental!

We loved this property. It was very clean (great job Claudia), well furnished, beautifully laid out. Great location with access to great shopping and restaurants (50th and France) and city buses. We are interested in returning during future trips to Minneapolis.

Great location
We only had problem getting in the first day. It did not say to go to the backdoor. That would have been good to know. The baby bunnies came out of the whole they were born in while we were there. So cool. We cooked outside and enjoyed the weather.

Excellent stay!! Location was everything. So convenient to walk do anything in the area including shops and restaurants and coffee. Plenty of space in the house with the three levels making the seven of us not feel on top of each other. Had a small issue getting access because the door code we were given didn’t work but the rental agent problem solved with us and eventually got us the right keys. Would definitely stay here again.

This house worked out well for us as a base of operations for our daughter's wedding. It is a classic older home, decorated in a way that made us feel very comfortable.
We made several meals and had no trouble finding the proper equipment. One couple had the upstairs with it's own bathroom, the two single adults each had a room on the main floor and shared a bathroom. The two younger adult were able to crash in the lowest level, and again had another bathroom to use.
Each bathroom had it's own shower, and was stocked with enough towels and toiletries.
The parking space off the back alley was small and on a slope, so we mainly used the plentiful street parking in the front. I could see the back being more useful in the summer months.
Communication was excellent, and I received a fast answer to a couple of texts I sent. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood, and hope to use Minnestay in the future.

This is a great house; has everything you could possibly need; and is in a great location near lakes and 50th & France shops/restaurants. All procedures were clear and easy to follow, check-in was a breeze, and there are instructions in the house for how to work things. Plenty of big comfy bedrooms.

Mpls stay
House was very nice, charming and clean. However the furnace or heating system was not working. We were moved to another house (which was a lovely home, clean and very comfortable), but it was across the street from an elementary school. The location/ neighborhood was not nearly as good as the home we originally booked. But the property manager did get us moved quickly to this house that had a functioning heating system.
