This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom lakefront home offers the perfect getaway in Tonka Bay, nestled between Lake Minnetonka’s upper and lower lakes. Enjoy a private dock with a 26-ft boat slip, spacious backyard with a fire pit, propane fire table, lounge chairs, and propane grill. The chic interior is ideal for creating lasting memories. Located in a cove off Gideon Bay, it’s a short walk, bike ride, or boat trip to downtown Excelsior. Under Minnestay’s 5-Star management, this is your new favorite summer destination!
Layout:
Lakefront Cottage accommodates up to 3 cars. A private office welcomes you upon entry, with a 3/4 bathroom nearby. The fully stocked kitchen includes a 4-burner stove, dishwasher, and ample counter space, adjacent to the dining room with seating for 6. The cozy living room offers a large couch and Roku TV.
Upstairs, the primary bedroom features water views, a king bed, Roku TV, and an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower and dual shower heads. The two queen bedrooms offer Roku Smart TVs and share the third bathroom with a bathtub and shower combo. All 4 Smart TVs offer live cable, Hulu Live TV, Netflix, Disney+, ESPN+, and HBO Max.
The expansive backyard leads to the dock, perfect for a paddleboard ride or evening s’mores by the fire pit.
*** DOCK: The 26-ft boat slip is available on the west side of the dock, with occasional access by the owner’s boat. Advance notice is given.

• All guests must be over the age of 25, unless part of a family unit. Verification may be required.
• All check-ins are contactless! To provide this service, we require a selfie of you holding your ID to verify your identity prior to check-in. No exception.
• Bookings made within 10 days of arrival will require additional credit card documentation.
• Our Rental Agreement must be signed prior to arrival. This will require your email address. Please inquire about the terms and conditions prior to booking. More info can be found on the Minnestay website, under Guest Services - Rental Policies.
• Minnestay uses a third-party to screen the identity and check criminal databases for all guests in order to confirm a reservation. Guests will be required to complete the screening by responding to an email sent by the third-party. Complete terms regarding guest screening can be found on the Safely website, under Terms.
• No smoking inside of the home.
• This property may have a noise monitoring device on the interior of the home. Additional noise monitoring devices may be located in gathering spaces on the exterior of the home, as well.
• No events - This home is designed for families and responsible adults. Restrictions include, but are not limited to: Weddings and wedding celebrations, bachelorette/bachelor gatherings, and reunions.
• No pets allowed!
• Please respect the home and clean up after yourself!
• Quiet Hours: 10PM-7AM. We love our neighbors!! Please be respectful of the permanent residents on either side of this property.
• Direct bookings or other online booking sources may be subject to a 3% cancellation fee.
Deviation from these rules can result in an eviction from the premises with no refund, as stated in the signed rental agreement.

Most Beautiful Location
This is the most beautiful location we’ve stayed in. The backyard and section of the lake is serene. It’s so calm and quiet and lovely amid beautiful trees and hikes and families. We will treasure our stay and can’t wait to come back!

This house was perfect for my family to stay in! The host does a nice job of providing everything you need for a comfortable stay and the house is so cozy and nice. The lake and area was the cherry on top. We hope to have a chance to stay here again in the summer!- Ellie , Posted:
The cottage is great if you are bringing a boat. We tied our boat to the dock and it was very safe and calm. We had easy access to all the lake had to offer. The size was right for our family. The driveway was tight but we managed with our truck and trailer. We could fit one other car if we had to.- Jessica , Posted:
Excellent house on a small channel connecting to Lake Minnetonka. Ample parking for a boat trailer and 4 vehicles. Great beds, and kitchen. Outdoor amenities are the best, well the hot tub was inflatable but the fire pit was perfect. Only improvement could be a better coffee maker. +$500 per night and a super cheap $20 coffee maker is not ideal.

Had a wonderful stay in this cottage off of Gideon Bay. Very clean, very comfortable beds, and peaceful location right on the water. Love the attention to detail in the home, which was also well stocked, along with the amenities outside. Definitely a treat to stay here.- Kelly , Posted:

Great location if you have a boat. The private dock was fantastic!! Charming home and welcoming neighbors. Lake life is the best!! Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay. The responsiveness of the management to a few issues was quick and efficient. I would recommend this home and the management team!

Fantastic girls’ trip at Lake Minnetonka! Beautiful house right on the lake. Well appointed and fit our group of 5 easily (3 bedrooms/3 baths). We loved waking up in the morning and having coffee looking out at the beautiful lake. Many of us also did yoga and meditated on the private dock. 5 minute drive from grocery store. Also close to all the fun restaurants and shops in both Excelsior and Wayzata. At night we enjoyed the fire pit and made quite a few s’mores. Would definitely recommend!- Kristin , Posted:

This home was absolutely perfect for 3 women. The house was exceptionally clean and there weren’t unnecessary knickknacks around.
