Beautiful Cabin!

This is a beautiful cabin. We rent a few VRBO's per year and this was the cleanest. Very cozy, nice views of the lake, comfortable beds, upgrade amenities throughout the cabin. We love to fish, while we only caught some small sun fish, the dock was nice. We were up for a funeral, so it was nice to have family join us and enjoy the fire pit, enjoy the views and share stories.

Peaceful get away with family
This lovely lake property was just what we needed following the death of a close friend. We were thrilled to see loons, pheasant, bald eagle, deer, and Sandhill Crane. Enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit, and games.

Recommended for a lovely relaxing getaway
We had a wonderfully relaxing time kayaking, swimming and fishing at the Lakefront Hideaway in Litchfield. The cabin is really cozy and comfortable and the views were awesome. The management company was very attentive and had great customer service. We have only a couple suggestions; first the couches could use a cleaning or reupholstering/slip covers and a ladder to get in and out of the lake onto the dock would be nice.

A Slice of Heaven
The “cabin” is cozy and relaxing and the yard and atmosphere is the perfect recipe for simple relaxation and enjoyment of nature and the simple things in life. The management company clearly strives to meet all needs and then some. The extra touches and thoughtfulness go a long way. We loved it!

Perfect spot for a change of pace.

The cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing change of pace weekend. A manageable drive from the city to a small lake where you feel like you're miles away. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with linens, towels, kitchen supplies, etc. The kayaks and fire pit were added bonuses for our group. We will definitely return.

Perfect cabin on a lake just over an hour from The Twin Cities
The three bedroom, 2 bath cabin was spotless, welcoming, and the huge windows onto the deck and lake provided amazing views. It was quiet and a made to order spot for our Girls Get Away. Our only disappointments were that there was no WI Fi connection, and while a TV is advertised it is only for DVDs.

Peaceful Getaway
My husband and I decided to take our adult sons on a short getaway. It was perfect! The setting is quiet and peaceful and the cabin is beautifully done and well stocked for all of our cooking needs. We are really happy with our choice and we would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing peaceful setting and getting away from the electronic world which we were. Thank you!

My family had the distinct privilege of being the first Airbnb-ers at this property! And what an amazing property it is!! The owners are super responsive, as was the property management company. This Dunn’s Lake property is really beautiful. You can tell the owner was a true craftsman in all the fine details they’ve put into their place. It’s decorated perfectly and everything is new and updated. You can sit on the porch and enjoy your morning coffee, or go out on the patio where you can have lunch or at nighttime you can sit by a roaring campfire. The kitchen inside is spacious and has literally everything you would need to make any meal. The couches and gas fireplace were so comfortable to sit by. We played games from their big selection, built puzzles, floated in the lake, did some tubing and waterskiing, and especially got in some early morning fishing. We made memories my kids will surely never forget. You can tell the owners have taken time to figure out exactly what their renters will need to have a great time on their vacation, they’ve got the place stocked with fun! Plus it’s only 1.5 hours from the Twin Cities!! We will be going again, very soon.

Lovely
We had the most beautiful weather and really enjoyed the house and the lake. The extras - such as the bottle of wine and toiletries were an unexpected, nice touch! The only complaint--and not much to be done--was the flies. Fortunately there was some breeze which helped. Thank you!

The pictures don't lie.
There was one of four light bulbs out in the upstairs bathroom... and that is about all I could find that wasn't exceptional for this place. This place was clean and well stocked. We used the kayaks in the garage and loved it! There would be space to use an inflatable mattress or two if needed for sleeping arrangement, but we didn't need it. Overall, this was great space indoors and outdoors. Thank you!!

5 old"er" gals just doing their annual college girlfriend weekend! This place was perfect! plenty of space. clean. Lots of cornhole played! Patio and views to lake are gorgeous. Beautiful sunsets! Lots of stairs to the lake without railing. So, at least one of us did not venture down to the lake. Lake was quite "green" this time of year. So, we did not actually swim or go in it. Fish are jumping like crazy! Would recommend this cabin to families!

Fantastic 5 night stay
This cabin stay exceeded our expectations! It was clean and had everything we needed, great kitchen and fun games too. I don't really like swimming in Minnesota lakes usually, so for me to like swimming there is a big deal, is was kinda warm and not weedy. The view is gorgeous , we have nothing bad to say at all. Thank you very much!

Beautiful getaway
The cabin/lake home was beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. Beautiful view on the lake, a great patio with fire pit, and plenty of space. It's only a short drive to nice hiking trails, and if you're into it, you can check out the biggest ball of twine in Darwin (a 5 minute drive). Very happy we chose this place.

We absolutely LOVED staying at the Lakefront Hideaway cabin in Litchfield for new years! The property is beautiful, the lake was great for cross-country skiing on, and the home itself had everything you could think of. It was a perfect distance from the cities for a weekend away and the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything you could possibly need. Everything from basic spices, oils, and pots and pans to a griddle, waffle maker, and small food processor. Perfect weekend away, thank you!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin for girls weekend the weather and location were great. The cabin had everything we needed and more. Kitchen is stocked well along with extra blankets and cute little baskets full of great stuff for us to use. There is really no beach area, but the patio with fireplace was awesome! This is the perfect lake cabin with so many extra lake amenities! We enjoyed fishing on the lake daily and relaxing on the patio. Additionally, the kitchen had everything needed to prepare our family meals! The host was quick to respond to all of my questions! Thank you for a great week!

My husband and I rented this over Memorial Day weekend. Beautiful spot on Dunns Lake. Quiet and peaceful. The place is quite nice, and seemed pretty new. Great kitchen and outdoor area, and all the amenities you need.

Everything was clean and organized!! The owners was super welcoming! They supplied us with goodies, wine, and personal hygiene products. Basically everything you need is there. Probably one of the best cabin I’ve been too!

We went here on a mini-honeymoon and loved it. We kayaked around the lake, went swimming, relaxed on the patio and on the hammock... what more could you ask for? The central AC works pretty well, though it makes a muted, high-pitched sound in the bedroom. Overall Minnestay was quite thoughtful in how they set it up and we loved it!

Great little house!
My friends and I rented this house for a small craft retreat, and it perfectly suited our needs. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishes, and there were plenty of beds for all of us. The huge living/dining room windows were a great way to enjoy the sunshine and the wintry outdoors from inside!

Beautiful quiet area. Stayed during the fall but would be a fantastic place to stay to enjoy long days on the lake. Provides plenty of entertainment for kids. Very relaxing, beautiful getaway.

Lake Relaxation
This lake home was exactly what we hoped it would be. The home was EXTREMELY clean and was private (except the neighbor's garage to the north of the property). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook (which is good because there isn't anything nearby) and the bathrooms / linens provided were very nice. The lake itself was very quiet and small, which is what we liked. We were able to use the kayak's provided to go all the way around the lake in less than an hour. The water was a bit murky, so swimming wasn't good. We used the fire pit every night - it was so nice to have all the fire wood provided! We had spectacular sunsets every night and clear skies for amazing star gazing. The only draw back was no washing machine and dryer. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations and allowed us to have a very relaxing experience.

Perfect Cabin Getaway!!!
We LOVED the following: *Great Patio w underground Fire Pit overlooking the Water *All the Amenities you need for cooking/grilling and also included fire wood, canoe, kayak, etc. *Cozy Cabin, but very spacious *Privacy was excellent *bottle of wine was nice touch to welcome us. *we look forward to coming back!!

This was a really nice clean cabin. It worked great for our family and as others have stated, they have everything you could possibly need within the cabin. The lake was a lot of fun and we enjoyed some fishing, waterskiing and tubing. The sunsets were also beautiful over the water! Thanks for being thoughtful hosts!

I would defiantly recommend
This place was so beautiful. We went in the winter and the lake view was gorgeous. You can’t walk down to the lake though from the cabin in the winter. I would think this would be great for the summer! You could fit probably 10 people here with a couple air mattresses. Plenty of room upstairs to put them. Kids have a cute area up stairs to hang out too if you want kids upstairs and adults downstairs. We did a girls weekend and would defiantly come here again!

A gem truly away from it all
The house was perfect for our needs. Well stocked with towels and extra bathroom essentials. The lake was typically green for this time of year but that didn’t deter my relatives who stopped up from having a great time in it. The kayaks were great and the barbecue was sufficient. Nearest store was 10 minutes away which seemed shorter with each trip we made there. We had a few questions for Lance which he got back to us immediately. WIFI would be nice to have added there. Overall I would highly recommend staying there.

Everything was great! Location, accommodations suited our party, Nice lodge feeling, the kids loved the games and movies. Well set up. we didn't need to leave for anything, however we did go into Litchfield, charming city.

We had fun at the cabin! The house and garage are stocked with lots of things for you and the kids to do. The cabin itself is beautiful and we loved the view from the loft! Our only disappointment is that the lot was smaller than we expected, so we could hear the stereo from the neighbors on one side whenever we were outside.

The cabin, which is more like a home, was beautiful, open and airy with incredible windows from floor to "A" framed ceiling. The view was magical with the quiet, cool breezes coming across the lake. My family and I would recommend "Lakeside Hideaway" to all vacationers looking for a peaceful, relaxing, time together. Don't pass this cabin up!

Awesome Rental!
Our family stayed over the Labor Day weekend and couldn't have been happier with the modern-clean-well stocked-cozy- beautiful view of the water, this rental property offered. Our family had a lovely time at this very cozy home. Our boys spent hours on the dock fishing and on the boat. The home is open allowing for us to spend quality time together even when on the main floor and in the loft. We would come again

Great cabin!
We stayed at the cabin over Memorial Day weekend and it was just what we needed! The cabin is awesome - clean, comfortable, and well stocked (kitchen and garage). The view from the cabin and patio is beautiful! The patio was a great relaxing place to hang out and we lucked out with great weather. We enjoyed the kayaks, fishing off the dock, the hammock and the firepit (firewood provided) in the evening! Would definitely recommend and also would go back to the cabin in the future! It is in an area without much around but the cabin/lake was all we wanted and needed!

This property was exactly as listed. It was beautifully appointed, very comfortable and stocked with everything you could need. From toothbrushes and beach towels to DVDs and board games. Perfect property and we'll definitely be coming back next year.

New and clean!
Nice spot facing west onto lake for great sunset views. Newer construction lake home with nice amenities, including nice even climate control throughout the structure. Separate upper level "kids" space for noise control when needed.

The cabin is spotless, cozy, and wonderful! We were amazed that toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and tooth paste were provided as well as coffee! Although the weather didn't cooperate, the cabin was absolutely wonderful. Thank you for taking care of all the little details :)

Had a fantastic birthday celebration weekend with my family. The place was so peaceful and clean. Hosts were extremely responsive as well. They had kayaks for us to use and a lovely patio with a fire pit to hang at. We got out on a paddleboard we brought one day. The next day the water was kind of gross but not sure if that’s typical. Would be great for kayaking but wouldn’t want to swim off the dock. The place was perfect for us and made for a really special weekend. Five stars!

Very nice and comfortable accommodations set up very well for a group. Kitchen is well stocked with the gadgets and amenities we typically use at home. So helpful. Overall it’s a wonderful place in the woods - a perfect escape. Really glad we had the opportunity to enjoy it.
